This listening session is devoted to the prolific journey of the guitarist, producer and composer Stephen O’malley. The American artist will address the whole of his career, dotted with artistic meetings which led him to create many projects at the crossroads of the Metal drone, experimental music, the visual arts and the performing arts. From his interest in graphics, including the physicity of amplified sound, to the exploration of the acoustic tolerance thresholds, Stephen O’Malley places his work between extreme musical cultures and conceptual artistic approaches to better question, even exceed, the limits of space and time.
