Rebounding in Sweden. The 16 -year -old arrested in the investigation into the shooting that killed three dead on Tuesday in Uppsala, Sweden, was released but four men were arrested, the prosecutor in charge of the investigation announced on Friday.
“The suspicion of the 16 -year -old man weakened during police custody. He is no longer suspected of crime, “said prosecutor Andreas Nyberg in a statement.
Two men aged in his thirties were arrested on Thursday for “incitement to murder”, and a third aged in his twenties was in the night from Thursday to Friday, suspected of murder, he said.
Link with organized crime?
A fourth man, about 45 years old, was arrested on Friday morning, also for incitement to the murder, according to a new press release.
The three victims, aged 15 to 20, were killed late Tuesday afternoon in a hairdressing salon in this university city located about sixty kilometers north of Stockholm, arousing amazement.

According to Swedish media, at least one of the victims had links with organized crime, which the police have not confirmed. Prime Minister Ulf KrisSson deplored “a completely extreme act of violence” which “almost resembles an execution”.
Sweden has been trying to stem a wave of shootings and attacks with the artisanal explosive carried out by rival gangs for several years, especially for control of drug trafficking. Uppsala has long been the basis of the two most famous rival gang leaders in Sweden, Ismail Abdo and Rawa Majid, but the two men are suspected of now orchestrating their operations from abroad.
Uppsala is experiencing a wave of violence “since 2023 after the murder of the mother of Ismail Abdo”, in a vendetta linked to the conflict between his gang, Rumba, to that of Rawa Majid, Foxtrot, said the prosecution on Tuesday.
