The woman placed in police custody after the discovery on Tuesday April 29 of the body of Karen, a woman living in Trémolat (Dordogne), killed by stabbing weapon in front of her house, was released on Friday, reports “here Périgord” (ex-France Bleu). There is no longer any person in police custody.
This 69 -year -old woman, interviewed since Wednesday, is a resident of Trémolat and from the entourage of the couple. She was released after “Checks around his schedule”indicates the Bergerac prosecution. The prosecutor specifies that the investigators now concentrate “Around people who were likely to have them after the victim or the couple whom she formed with her friend, both being very active in the local associative fabric”.
It was the second person placed in police custody in this file. The victim’s companion – who had discovered the body – had also been heard by the investigators before being finally released. During his hearing, he said he had spent the evening with the victim with friends in the town of Trémolat. The 65 -year -old British retiree – which he had been frequented for a few weeks – then had the wheel to go home about ten minutes before him. The man had found the victim arriving in front of her house, seriously injured near his car, unconscious and bleeding a lot.
Karen succumbed to his injuries caused by a stabbing, according to “Périgord”. The retiree received eight stab wounds as she took her little dog out of her car.
