The Adour Dax dominates too feverish Bordeaux and goes back on the podium

-

In a well-stocked Maurice-Boyau room, the ADB was rubbing the JSA Bordeaux, two teams at the elbow in the podium, this Saturday. And from the outset, the speed of Louis Lageyre’s partners – deprived of Corentin Carne, finally absent – destabilized the Bordeaux. Cédric Mansaré showed the way with a improved basket, the start of an offensive festival. The first five minutes were one-sided: overwhelmed, the JSA folded in front of the crazy address of a collective led by a Sébastien Dulouat on fire (15-5, 4th). The Dacquoise defense inhibits the Bordeaux game (22-12, 10th).

Upon recovery, a clumsiness festival of the two camps made the level of play lower. The experienced Bordeaux Eddy Steiner, for his part, held his troops alive. The ADB could worsen the gap, but too many failed free throws closed a poor quarter from 10 to 10 (32-22, 20th).

Reactions

Jean-Baptiste Oyhanondo (ADB coach) : “I am happy with the defensive investment, we managed to extinguish the JSA. We returned to victory, it feels good to find a positive dynamic! »»
Paco Demazeau (JSA player): “We never really got into the meeting, there was a lot of clumsiness. We have not found collective solutions. It was a big challenge match for us: in the event of a victory, we could go get a possible place for the play-offs … “

Upon returning from the locker room, the yellow and black were more incisive under the leadership of Paco Demazeau. But nothing did, the locals were running. Damien Dulouat and Julien Gardesse, in the oven and in the mill, were effective in the rebound as in the planchot. A rain of antisportive faults fell: the Bordeaux captain Desmonts accumulated technical fault … then disqualifying! An astonishing decision in a match without bad aggressiveness and which had taken place with respect.

A serene success

The end of the third quarter was rang with, already, an advantage of 18 points. The good defense of the premises as well as a beautiful address made it possible to dig this gap. Opposite, the JSA were too clumsy to hope to pick up. The Adour Dax was giving up towards easy success, never worried by a team yet ambitious and postulating on the N1 climb.

The Bordelais found the address in the last quarter, notably with Demazeau and Steiner behind the Francs Francs line. The gap was 10 points 4 minutes from the end. But the advance of the Grand-Dacquois was too large, despite a 7 to 17 in this fourth quarter and far too many free throws lost on the way. Carried by his audience and by Joris, the room driver, the ADB was logically imposed, without ever having been truly worried. He thus doubles the JSA in 3rd place, two lengths from the duo of leaders, the ESMS and the BBM.
